Chris and I lived in the The Delph for several years before we came to get to know each other whilst our children attended the local pre-school group. We then became friends and even when Daniel and Hannah went off to separate secondary schools and my family moved deeper into Lower Earley we kept in touch.

One of my strongest memories will be the Quiz nights we attended at our various schools etc, where the men would fervently answer the questions and Chris, Janice and I would enjoy the gossip, wine and food and answer the odd question that fell within our specialist knowledges. We all won the odd quiz and lost many more but those evenings will always be a memory to fall back on of time spent with a lovely lady.

Chris will be very much missed by many and it is so sad that she was taken before her time.
