Thoughts

Bugsey is my best friend forever. We cried a little, smiled a lot, and laughed continually throughout our 53 years as friends. This is not goodbye this is see you later alligator, in a while crocodile.

I have known Christine for many years, since her sister, Barbara, married my brother Chris. We usually met up in Brighton for celebrations and parties and enjoyed such happy times. Christine was so very sweet and kind and lovely to me and my children. But one of my happiest memories is of spending a few days with her and Mick when we all stayed in an Airbnb for a few days in Boston USA when her (and my) nephew John married Rakeen. Christine was such fun as we all danced at the reception. She never stopped smiling and it was such a joyous occasion. My heart goes out to Mick, Dan and Matt and you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

We have so many memories of times shared over the last 33 years of being friends. Chris was a caring and very dear friend who always put others before herself. Through her work at the Pre-school she has helped to improve the lives of countless numbers of children and their families. She was, of course, devoted to ‘her boys’ and family. We met at ante natal classes and then continued our friendship, through bringing up our children together. As the families grew up, the four of us continued to have lots of good times together including many New Years’ Eves, lovely walks often being at Chris’ “happy place” by the sea or conveniently finishing at pub opening time! But always with lots of laughs along the way. She has been cruelly taken far to early, just as a new chapter was beginning with retirement and the chance to spend more time with family, friends, and at the sea which was a such a big draw for her. We will miss you so much, love Jo and Graham
